Born and raised in Truro, Nova Scotia, Bill attended the University of Kings College in Halifax and Ryerson Polytech Institute in Toronto. Bill started his long career in the fast food industry in 1970 as manager of the family operated drive-in restaurant in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. He has been in the foodservice industry since that date serving many years as President of House of Hay Limited, a company that operated KFC restaurants in New Brunswick and the Truro area.
Today, Bill is Chairman of Trucorp Investments Incorporated, the company that owns and operates Bonté Foods Limited, a food manufacturing and retail company in Dieppe, New Brunswick and Grinner's Food Systems Limited (the franchisor of “Greco Pizza” and “Captain Sub” restaurants) as well as the operator of Frank & Gino’s restaurant. Bill is a previous franchisee of KFC and of Tim Hortons.
 Bill was the recipient of the “Pizza Person of the Year Award” at the 1991 pizza expo in New Orleans.
Bill is also the owner of Mastodon Ridge Developments Limited in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia and has been very active in the tourism industry. 
Bill has been active in numerous industry organizations and been involved with many community-based associations including the Truro and District Chamber of Commerce, Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation and the Central Nova Industry Education Council.  
Bill is a past Chairman of the Colchester Regional Development Agency (CORDA).

Mike has worked in the retail advertising industry and joined the GFS organization after acting as a Marketing Consultant in 1980. He is a Journalism/Public Relations graduate of Durham College, Oshawa, Ontario. His background includes client services to the foodservice industry. After 13 years as Director of Marketing for GFS, Mike moved into the position of General Manager in 1994 and was appointed President in 1996.

Mike has served on the Boards of the Canadian Restaurant Foodservice Association (CRFA) and the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA). He was the recipient of the President’s Award from the CFA in 1999 and was listed as one of the Top 50 CEO’s in Atlantic Canada by Progress Magazine in 2004. Mike was awarded the designation as Alumnus of Distinction from Durham College in 2010 as well as being nominated as a finalist for the Premiers Award for Ontario Colleges in 2011.

Mike is an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 award finalist in Atlantic. He lives in Moncton with his wife Cindy and has a daughter Lindsay and a son Zachary.
